Three Students for One Cause
We are a group of three Cal Poly students with very different backgrounds, different majors, and different points of view. Together, we are taking on the Food Preservation issue in Sierra Leone!
A Closer Look At Each Member:
Max Lassiter
I’m a third year Construction Management student from Denver CO. Regardless of if I’m here in SLO or back home in Colorado I love to explore the outdoors. I am an avid hiker and skier depending on what conditions are available!
Kelly Kavousi
I’m a third year Art and Design student with a concentration in Graphic Design from San Jose in the Bay Area. Alongside my major, I am also pursuing the minor Computation for the Interactive Arts, where I can incorporate coding knowledge with graphic design. My hope is to become a UX/UI designer for mobile app design, as well as websites too! Though my career is routed in digital design, I also enjoy hands on art, like oil painting! If not in the studio, you can find me at the gym or with my little maltese dog named Goofy!
Carter Spreen
I'm a second year Physics student from Los Altos Hills. I love Physics because it is like opening my eyes to see more clearly. I'm a strong believer in Panpsychism, which is the theory that the entire universe is conscious, and that consciousness is fundamental to the way the universe behaves. In my free time, I like to hang out with my dogs, mountain bike, play blues and jazz guitar, cook French and Italian cuisine, and explore the natural world. My life goal is to work at CERN so I can live in the Alps.
